Position Summary
The Jr. AM is responsible for partnering with an assigned customer base and ensuring the satisfaction and long-term success of those customers. Two key activities are maximizing the upselling and reducing the churn for current accounts. The Jr. AM will communicate regularly with customers to understand their business and associated challenges and will offer solutions to address these challenges. The Jr. AM will work cooperatively with other AMs to ensure consistent coverage and uncompromising support for all DartPoints customers. The Jr. AM will provide administrative sales support as required to assigned outside sales team members.
Primary Responsibilities
- Regular communications with customer base:
- Handling and tracking all non-technical inbound customer requests and issues
- Proactive outbound communication (calls and email) with assigned customer base
- Gain a better understanding of customer’s business and associated challenges
- Ensure satisfaction with DartPoints services
- Be an internal advocate for assigned customers
- Identify new opportunities with assigned customer base, provide solutions and quotes
- Provide administrative support to the business development/sales team including:
- Development of proposal, contracts, and other documents
- Research solutions with internal and other resources, space, power, bandwidth, Cloud/Managed Services in concert with Solutions Architects and other resources
- Timely updating of key activities in CRM
- Represent DartPoints in the local market through attendance at local networking functions, including after-hours as required
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, minimum
- Related Work Experience: Two years of inside sales experience preferred but not required
- Certifications: NA
- Technical Skills: Must have some industry experience in IT or related technologies.
- Other: Strong listening, oral & written communication skills; strong PC proficiency
