We are seeking compassionate, mission driven individuals dedicated to providing excellent care to make a difference in the lives of clients we serve. We are currently hiring Outpatient and Crisis Clinicians in Lawrence. The Outpatient Clinicians will work with a multidisciplinary team and provide person-centered, low-threshold access at our Community Behavioral Health Center. The ideal candidate functions well in teams, is organized, empathetic, and motivated to help clients meet their goals and improve their lives. Our Clinicians use creative problem-solving and evidence-based treatment to provide the most up to date care for our clients, while care managers help them overcome traditional barriers in the behavioral health system.
As a Crisis Clinician, you will develop your diagnostic skills, conduct assessments, make referrals and collaborate with community stakeholders. Evaluations may be performed in the community, 'Adult & Youth MCI' community-based location or hospital (either in-person or via telehealth). The ideal candidate is a flexible, motivated individual who enjoys a dynamic role and is able to build rapport with clients while providing brief crisis intervention. Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for ongoing professional development and receive training in Crisis Prevention Institution (CPI). Our team provides services to our most vulnerable populations and is dedicated to removing all barriers to treatment. The crisis clinician role allows you to experience something new every day.
The Clinician’s Responsibilities are:
+ Conduct intakes and brief assessments.
+ Provide comprehensive evaluations and related service delivery requirements for youth, adolescents and adults in a variety of care settings.
+ Provide appropriate assessments and determine the best next steps in support for clients with behavioral health needs.
+ Document all clinical encounters in a concise, timely and clinically sound manner.
+ Coordinate with client’s existing care team to ensure a team-based approach to addressing the client’s behavioral health and medical needs.
+ Develop and implement crisis plans, comprehensive treatment plans and care coordination with the client, their providers and other community supports.
+ Continually review and update treatment plans based on clinical needs.
+ Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups focused on crisis stabilization.
+ Has an understanding of all levels of behavioral health care and accessing it appropriately.
+ Meets monthly productivity expectations.
+ Adheres to confidentiality requirements set by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
+ Manage the acute phase of clients presenting in behavioral health crisis.
+ Provide timely assessment, triage, and referrals to support clients with behavioral health needs.
+ Complete accurate documentation and assessments within required time frames.
+ Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with community partners.
+ Utilize supervision effectively by sharing pertinent information and seeking guidance to manage high risk cases.
+ Attend client and team meetings as needed.
+ Meet productivity standards.
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field
+ License preferred (LICSW, LMHC)
+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable vehicle with an ability to meet persons served in a variety of community settings for Crisis Clinicians.
Schedule(s):
+ Full-time - 40 hours or
+ Various schedule options available including part-time and weekends. Hybrid model available in Outpatient setting.
