About the Job
Assembles, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs complex mechanical and electrical products Follows basic instructions
Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Uses various electrical and mechanical assembly tools
Assists with novel assembly/process changes proposed by engineering and management.
Suggests and implements continuous improvement solutions
Assists with any NPI (new product introduction) efforts
Provide support to RF application engineering, transistor production, or module production as needed
Create purchase orders for equipment/components per instruction from superiors
Operate data acquisition, test, and measurement instruments and equipment
Assist with the Design/Build/Repair/Tune evaluation amplifiers and test fixtures
Perform RF testing at both amplifier and discrete transistor levels
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Organizational skills
Proficient using hand tools
Experience in electronics assembly testing and troubleshooting preferred Machine shop (lathe, mill, drilling) experience preferred
Language Skills
Must have solid reading, writing, and comprehension skills in order to understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Strong communication skills are needed to effectively present information to colleagues.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
High school diploma or equivalent
