Job Title: Journeyman Service TechnicianJob Type: Full-time, Hourly (Non-exempt) position ($32.00 - $40.00, DOE) At Bobcat Central Inc. – Bobcat of Reno, our technicians and service team members play a vital role. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and providing technical support on a wide range of Bobcat construction and agricultural equipment. Reports to: Branch Manager / Service ManagerBobcat Central Inc. offers EXCELLENT Benefits:Bobcat University TrainingCompany LaptopMedicalDentalVisionOptional Supplemental Plans401k MatchingVacation/Sick PayPaid HolidaysService Technician Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to operate a personal computer.Perform routine troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions, including hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, etc.Execute repairs, rebuilds, and servicing equipment and components in a timely manner.Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.Work independently with little to no supervision.Complete all necessary documentation associated with repairs, ensuring legible and accurate work order notes.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills required.Minimum of 5+ years of prior heavy equipment and farm tractor service experience as a technician is mandatory.Experience with Compact Construction Equipment and/or Compact Tractors is highly valuable.Prior experience with Bobcat equipment is a plus.Valid Class C driver’s license required.Service Technician Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.Ability to work within CDK/PFW Intellidealer system or similar software.Knowledge of heavy equipment air conditioning systems, their design, use, repair, and maintenance.Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.Service Technician Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and maintain balance.Ability to climb and lift up to 50 lbs.
