Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Journeyman/Service Electrician looking for a leadership opportunity? Automation Integration, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman/Service Electrician to oversee electrical projects and lead a team of electricians. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects while upholding high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee electrical projects from start to finish as a working site lead, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
- Lead a team of 2-3 electricians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Install, maintain, repair, and service electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project requirements and resolve any issues.
- Operate machines and equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman licensed electrician, with proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Valid journeyman electrician license issued by the state (TX) regulatory authority.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with man lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, excavators, and trench diggers.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Comfort with handling handguns and familiarity with handgun knowledge preferred, but not required.
