Ranger Roofing & Construction. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Journeyman Roofer - Sheet Metal Specialist to join our team. We have immediate openings for individuals who have expertise in sheet metal roofing systems, strong work ethics, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Apply and repair various roofing materials with a focus on sheet metal roofing systems.
Perform demolition and tear-off of existing roofing systems for repair or replacement.
Install and service sheet metal roofing systems according to project specifications.
Operate and maintain hand and power tools effectively.
Assist with the service and maintenance of pre-existing roofing and sheet metal systems.
Assemble and repair sheet metal items by fastening seams and joints using welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds.
Follow and exceed all company safety procedures and protocols.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sheet metal installer in commercial roofing. Single-ply roofing systems (TPO) experience is a plus!
Must be able to pass a drug test and background clearance for the projects we work on.
Reliable transportation to job sites is required.
A valid ID is required. A driver's license is preferred, but not required.
TWIC card is a plus and is preferred, but not required.
Must provide verifiable experience and contact information.
Must be able to work at heights, lift 50+lbs, carry, bend, stand, and work in the elements all year.
Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts is a preferred skill.
Strong knowledge of hand and power tools used in roofing work.
Experience:
- Sheet Metal Installation: 3 years (Required).
- Single-ply roofing: 3 years (Preferred).
- Commercial Roofing: 5 years (Preferred).

Schedule:

40 - 60 hours per week
Monday to Friday

Work Location:

Work is currently being performed in Texas, and Louisiana, with additional projects across the southeast.
The office is located on the northeast side of Houston, with projects across the state of Texas and the southeastern United States.
Must be willing and able to travel as necessary.
