United Trades of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumbers or Highly Skilled Apprentice to join our team in Starkville, MS. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and regulations.
Pay Range: is based upon experience
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening if required.
Prefer but not required: Fall Protection, Trenching Excavation, and Scissor Lift certifications
Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Commercial Plumbers to join our team in Starkville, MS. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing plumbing services for commercial and industrial projects, contributing to the efficient and smooth operation of various establishments.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial buildings according to local codes and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of plumbing projects while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems to ensure their proper functionality and prevent potential problems.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless project execution.
- Operate and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring compliance and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
