Key Responsibilities

Electrical Installation: Install wiring, panels, lighting, and components across various project types following NEC and local codes.
Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial systems.
Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets NEC and local regulatory standards.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and apply technical drawings to guide installations and repairs.
Troubleshooting: Identify and fix electrical failures using testing devices and expert techniques.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards to maintain a secure work environment.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside skilled professionals to achieve project goals efficiently.
Material Management: Organize tools and materials for smooth job execution.

Qualifications

Licensing: Valid Virginia or West Virginia Journeyman Electrician License.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with residential, commercial, or industrial experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Mastery of electrical theory, systems, and tools for diagnostics and repairs.
Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to interpret and execute plans for complex projects.
Problem Solving: Expert troubleshooting skills to ensure fast and accurate resolutions.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team.
Communication: Clear verbal communication to provide updates and collaborate on-site.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
Ability to work long hours and overtime, including nights or weekends, when necessary.
