About the Job
Catapult is currently qualifying Journeyman Electricians for our client who provides custom power augmentation and energy plant solutions for power generation and utilities, liquefied natural gas (LNG), data center, biopharma and other markets. Their innovative solutions include turbine inlet air chilling, inlet air conditioning (heating and cooling), evaporative cooling, direct contact air chilling, thermal energy storage, district cooling and central utility plants.
*Journeyman Electricians with industrial experience are desired*
Electrician Essential Functions:
- Set electrical switchgear, panels, controllers, wireways, trays etc.
- Read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
- Install electrical conduit and wiring on modular chiller systems per plans
- Terminate high and low voltage wiring
- Construct supports and infrastructure for electrical equipment
- Oversee and organize electrical tool room
- Troubleshoot electrical tools, welders and grinders
- Able to research replacement electrical parts

Work Environment for Electricians:
This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with OT available on Saturdays.
Second shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
8+ years of industrial electrical installation
Knowledge concerning transformers, LVMCC, HVMCC, etc.
Good understanding of the National Electrical Code

Must have dependable transportation, valid drivers license, clean back-ground check and drug screening consent.
