This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
+ Repairing common issues, including ground fault, inverter malfunction/failure, wire damage, blown fuses, and A/C disconnect box failure
+ Diagnosing panel and panel connection issues via roof access
+ Issuing RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) for improperly functioning materials
+ Tracking field progress, including taking pictures and creating brief reports
+ Measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules
+ Connecting installed solar panels to existing electrical systems and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations
+ Organizing and maintaining system components
+ Maintaining documentation of completed installations
+ Applying weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms
+ Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions
Qualifications:
+ Reliable transportation to and from the job site
+ Current/Active Massachusetts Journeyman License OSHA- 10 Certification or a willingness to obtain it
+ Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
+ Prior experience in the solar field preferred
