Must have at least three years’ experience in the field. Management, sales or job coach experience preferred. Job Coach/Job Development Experience a plus.Must engage in a continual learning process to ensure we are on the cutting edge of employment services for our population.

Ability to advise, exercise good judgment,  make thoughtful decisions and solicit buy in from managers, businesses, community stake holders and colleagues on new ideas and initiatives.

Must be able to professionally and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employers, management, Colleagues, Guests/Residents, families, outside vendors, and members of the community

Must have proficient computer skills

Maintains a standard of professionalism in appearance, attitude and ethics

Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position

Must be well organized and possess good time management skills

Demonstrates skills for conflict resolution, both internal and external

Valid driver’s license, the use of a personal vehicle and satisfactory CORI and DDS fingerprinting are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent walking, standing and sitting

Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds

Must be able to maintain in a fast paced environment with a high energy level

Must be able to lift and/or carry such articles as files and records

Must be able to assist in transfers, lifts and personal care assistance

Must be able to physically implement First aid/CPR to individuals in response to an emergency situation and/or the implementation of a Crisis plan

Frequent short deadlines, changes in work schedule, change in office assignments or assigned tasks given the demands of the position 

Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress 

Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to individual crisis situations
