PathPoint is seeking part-time Job Coaches in Ridgecrest, CA. Job Coaches support adults with disabilities at their place of work, helping them maintain successful employment and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.
About PathPoint: We are a non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and young adults in living the life they choose. Through strengthening workplace abilities, developing essential life skills, and fostering meaningful relationships, we serve communities in Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Schedule: 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule, some weekend availability is needed.

What You'll Do:
- Work independently with individuals one-on-one at their place of work.
- Coach and counsel individuals on job responsibilities and concerns, including assisting with training, understanding and growing in opportunities for improvement, and navigating coworker/supervisor relationships.
- Solicit feedback from workplace supervisors and turn it into actionable training goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Patience, compassion, and positivity. Ability to coach/train others in a positive way.
- Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; if you are interested in this job but do not have directly relevant experience, we'd love to hear from you!
- Must have reliable transportation for frequent travel in the Ridgecrest area, including visiting multiple sites in one day.
- Culturally aware, acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds, possesses skills to collaborate across cultures, and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour. If you are bilingual (Spanish or ASL), the starting wage is $19.30 per hour. The pay range for this position is $16.03-$25.24. *
*The pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors, and the maximum pay represents the wage potential based on attaining the highest level of position experience, talent, and responsibilities.
