We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Job Captain to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex and innovative projects, where you will be responsible for leading and coordinating our team’s efforts. You will be a part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment where your expertise in architectural design will be highly valued and utilized. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Job Captain, your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and coordinating the project team through the design and construction process.
2. Overseeing the development of architectural designs and construction documents.
3. Ensuring that all projects are executed within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
4. Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of design standards and procedures.
7. Reviewing and approving architectural plans and specifications.
8. Resolving complex design and construction issues in a timely and effective manner.
9. Participating in project meetings and presentations.
10. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Job Captain position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on complex and innovative projects.
3. Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
5. Proficient in the use of architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex design and construction issues.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
8. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to oversee the development of architectural designs and construction documents.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
