Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Job Captain/Designer to join our dynamic architecture team specializing in multifamily and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading design projects, coordinating with team members, and ensuring high-quality delivery of architectural solutions that meet client needs and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of multifamily and mixed-use architecture projects.
- Coordinate with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Prepare design presentations and communicate design concepts effectively to clients and team members.
- Utilize Revit and other design software to produce high-quality architectural drawings and models.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and local codes.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and architects in best practices and project workflows.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in multifamily and mixed-use projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to affordable housing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant design work and project experience.
