A financial firm is looking for a Job Automation Engineer to join their team in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize job scheduling workflows using Redwood RunMyJobs, AutoSys, AWS EventBridge, and Apache Airflow.
- Integrate and automate Managed File Transfer (MFT) processes using tools like Redwood JSCAPE and AXWAY.
- Leverage AWS services, including S3 for storage solutions, SNS and SQS for messaging, Lambda for serverless computing, EventBridge for event-driven workflows, and Step Functions for orchestrating complex workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure with job automation tools, optimizing for performance, scalability, and security.
- Utilize SFTP for secure file transfers within automated workflows.
- Implement and configure monitoring and alerting solutions such as Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty, and Datadog to ensure reliability and performance of automated jobs.
- Set up alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues in job executions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to job scheduling, automation workflows, and MFT processes.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance and efficiency of automated jobs and workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT Operations, and Development, to understand automation requirements and implement solutions.
- Document processes, workflows, and system configurations for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in job automation, workflow management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with workflow automation tools such as Redwood RunMyJobs, AutoSys, AWS EventBridge, and Apache Airflow.
- Strong experience with MFT solutions like Redwood JSCAPE and AXWAY.
- Expert knowledge of AWS services including S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
- Advanced understanding of SFTP protocols and secure file transfer practices.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting platforms including Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty, and Datadog.Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and integration issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices, with the ability to integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in AWS, job automation tools, or MFT solutions.
