About the Job
We are hiring a Receptionist for our front desk and play an active role in office administration and clerical work. You will be responsible for taking calls and acting as a point of contact for our company. You will be welcoming and greeting guests who visit us for business purposes. You will coordinate between different departments and distribute correspondence. Your success as a Receptionist will depend on your ability to handle office administration work and take on the role of a company representative.
Responsibilities/Duties
You will have to do your job as a Receptionist keeping note of certain rules and responsibilities. It will ensure your success in the role that you do.
1. Greet clients and visitors with a pleasing smile and a positive attitude.
2. Direct them to where they want to go to the concerned department.
3. Maintain workplace security by checking and collecting bags, maintaining a logbook of visitors, and/or issuing badges.
4. Prepare and maintain training rooms and conference rooms for meetings and training.
5. Perform administrative jobs like taking notes, making travel plans, assisting in scheduling meetings, faxing, printing, etc.
6. Answer phone call politely and in a professional manner and route them to concerned executives of departments.
7. Sorting, and distributing incoming emails, faxes, and phone calls.
8. Provide customer service.
9. Assist in administrative tasks daily and doing any ad-hoc duties.
10. Assist in hiring and monitoring administrative team and juniors.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or associate degree in any related field.
2. Competent in computers and proficient in MS Office, Outlook, etc.
3. Experience in administrative and clerical duties and procedures.
4. Show consistency in manners, dress, and etiquette.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to perform in a team and contribute to doing various tasks as the need arises.
7. Hands-on experience in operating fax machines, printers, computers, etc.
8. Customer service attitude.
