JOB TITLE (#24982): Certified Nursing Assistant/ Skilled Nursing Facility / Contract - Basking Ridge, NJ
Must have experience in a long-term care setting
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing facility located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant:
✦Must have an active NJ state license
✦Must have experience in Med/Surg or a long-term care setting
✦Must have experience working with Pointclick Care (EMR)
Benefits of the Certified Nursing Assistant:
✦The salary for this position is $28 / hr
Schedule of the Certified Nursing Assistant:
✦Full-time or part-time position
✦Monday to Friday and every other weekend (For full-time)
✦Shift: TBD
Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:
✦Provide great patient care.
✦Answer patient calls and determine how best to help them.
✦Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
✦Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
✦Ensure patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
✦Obtain a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
✦Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and report changes to medical or nursing staff.
✦Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
✦Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
✦Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
✦Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
✦Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
