- Knowledge of Fred Meyer Jewelers policies, procedures, and organizational structure
- Experience with retail advertising
- Experience directing and participating on project teams
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, graphics art, design or related, field plus 3+ years' experience in advertising, design, art direction, or graphics arts; or combination of relevant education andexperience.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Accuracy/attention to detail
- Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
- Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
- Ability to show shape, proportion, and spatial relationship of elements via drawing
- Proficient with In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Web browser, E-mail
- Valid driver's license
- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Oversee in-studio and on-location photo shoots, providing creative direction for photographers, stylists, and models to produce high-quality visual assets
- Organize, schedule, and produce photo shoots, ensuring all aspects—from concept to execution—are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and refine concepts for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives that elevate and evolve the brand's visual language
- Shape the visual direction for various marketing materials including retail marketing, catalogs, lookbooks, email campaigns, web design, social media content, and more, ensuring consistency with brand identity and goals
- Communicate effectively and coordinate with department staff to produce effective advertising and collateral
- Partner with merchandise, eCommerce, design, and social media teams to create cohesive campaigns that drive engagement and support sales objectives
- Design compelling layouts for various materials using the latest Adobe Creative Cloud tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) while maintaining brand consistency
- Mentor and guide junior designers, offering constructive feedback to help them develop their technical skills and grow professionally
- Contribute to improving creative processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and quality control across all projects.
- Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and corporate standards, while maintaining a consistent visual identity across all platforms
- Keep up to date with design trends, retail advertising, fashion trends and photo techniques to keep the brand at the forefront of creativity
