JOB DESCRIPTION:
Capgemini is looking for Senior Software Engineers – Java/Springboot for a fulltime/ hybrid role in Philadelphia, PA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Application development, Implement and optimize algorithms and data structures to improve application performance.
+ Implement and understand logging, metrics and tracing for application monitoring and optimization.
+ Conduct root cause analysis of production errors to identify and resolve issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
+ 8 years of experience in Java J2ee Strong in Java 8 and related frameworks (Spring, spring boot, microservices, hibernate).
+ Solid knowledge of database (Oracle or postages) Good in writing script in Python or Java and in writing and optimizing SQL queries
+ Required production support experience.
+ Knowledge about Kibana or any other logging framework.
+ Design and implementation of REST APIs.Understanding of CI/CD best practices and how to create and troubleshoot build pipelines.
+ Familiarity with AWS EKS and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
+ Experience with integration Architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, Pub / Sub etc. including Event Driven Architecture.Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications.
