Java Software Engineer - Randstad USA

job summary:

Location:Westlake, TX or Merrimack NH - clear relocation plan must be in place if candidate's need to move

Required Skills:

1) Java, Spring framework, Spring boot - strong knowledge of Restful Services and multi-threading is a must.

2) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

3) THIS IS NOT A PROD SUPPORT ROLE; but application is very complex and candidates will be required to do prod support once every 3 months. Candidates must have clear production support experience, preferably using Splunk and/or Datadog

4) Some exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka strongly preferred

The Expertise You Have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

• 6+ years of experience working in technology or a related field.

• Proven experience in Java, Spring framework, Spring boot, Restful Service is a must.

• Experience with Angular UI, TypeScript, HTML.

• Experience in Github, Insomnia and CI/CD pipeline is a must.

• Experience with production support is a must.

• Docker and Kubernetes experience is a strong plus.

• AWS experience in services like IAM, S3 and Lambda is a plus.

• Knowledge in SQL and data analysis

• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.

• Very good communication skills with ability to do internal demos and presentations.

• Basic knowledge or prior experience in the financial services domain a plus
