Java J2EE Developer at US Tech Solutions

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid- 3 days Onsite, 2 days Remote)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications- Education & 5-7yrs Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/training
• 6 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
• 2+ years Microservice framework / REST development
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:
• 2+ years of Kubernetes Services with deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts


Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
• Proficiency in Full Stack Development
• Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
o J2EE technologies: Java11+, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB
o Cloud-based development: Kubernetes and Docker
o Web Servers: Tomcat, Websphere
o Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)
o Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot
o Build/deployment tools: Maven, Git, Junit, Mockito
o Other Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub and Clienture DevOps Clienture Data explorer, and Elastic Search
o Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting, IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ, Redis Cache
• Experience with TDD and BDD development pattern
• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles
• Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
• Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
