1. Java - very important and needs a deep knowledge. This developer will work with our current contractor who is the architect over this project the client is undertaking. They need to maintain and manage the production system. The third-party they are currently working with has developed 6 custom code packages. All of them are deployed right now. IF something breaks, it's a nightmare to fix. So, this resource needs to be able to come in and work with eclipse (a tool) to trouble shoot the 6 packages. Each package has specific functions like authentication, when the user logs in, some are inbound and outbound, some matching merging, etc.
2. ActiveVos- This should be listed on someone's resume like this. It's a workflow tool that enables data stewards to approve or reject something. EX: if someone wants to update a patient record, they need to merge it. It will develop a workflow for the individual can act as soon as it's approved.
3. Informatica MDM - they just went live with Informatica MDM. This person needs to be an expert with Informatica MDM.
4. WebSphere -Java codes need to be deployed on the WebSphere (therefore, having experience with this tool is needed).
Work Environment
Remote opportunity.
Manager's team dabbles in a bunch of different areas and sectors related to finance, HR, Billing and coding, etc. It's kind of a clinical and financial mixed world as far as clinical data coming in and working on it and sending it out. The new program that they're trying to get up and running is that a master patient index. They have purchased the MDM and data quality modules from informatica and are looking to get it up and running. The intent is to hire someone to work alongside our contractor as a java developer.
Business Drivers/Customer Impact
They purchased the MDM and data quality modules from informatica and started getting it up and running. The EMPI they had was very old and out of support. It has been a massive effort to clean up. They need to get to something that they can scrub better with so that when someone enters in the information (for patients) there are levels of validation. They need to get to a better data management for overall better patient care.
