Software Engineer - Merchant Acquiring and Servicing Technology
Location: Phoenix, AZ | Charlotte, NC | Irving, TX

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Support the design, architecture, development, and integration of Merchant Payment Servicing and Operations platforms, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and user experience objectives.
- Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of the Merchant Acquiring Servicing platform, optimizing performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
- Work with stakeholders to understand user feedback and iterate on product enhancements, ensuring throughput and SLA requirements for payments.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on building servicing experiences using a digital-first architecture mindset.
- Strong expertise in leading the design and build of micro front-end architecture and React UI components.
- Solid understanding of hybrid cloud technologies (Azure, Google), microservices architecture, and API integrations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Merchant Acquiring, payment gateways, PCI, credit decisioning, risk and fraud management, funding, settlement, reconciliation, reporting, case management, IVR, Point of Sale (POS) configuration, and device integration.
- Good working experience with Pega BPM, React UI, Java J2EE, Kafka, Azure components, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of design patterns and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering projects on time.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
