• 5-7 years’ experience of Java development
• Full stack development experience in technologies such as React, Angular, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Spring framework, Spring-MVC, myBatis, RESTful API’s.
• Familiar with DevOps Tools and automation
• Knowledge of appropriate design frameworks and patterns and experience in implementing them in software

Job Description

Insight Global's Transportation and Logistics client is looking for an Java Developer for a contract to hire opportunity. This person will work a hybrid schedule out of the Reading, PA office. You will participate in all aspects of the Software Development lifecycle by supporting existing software development efforts and troubleshooting issues as they occur while also developing new software modules across multiple small to medium projects concurrently. You will have an opportunity to lead the design of certain software components and suggest new products, applications and features based on industry and technological trends and advances. You will also consult with process owners in reviewing, interpreting & developing systems in accordance with user requirements. Finally, you will get an opportunity to work with a diverse team and mentor junior software engineers. This person will work in a full-stack capacity, but with a heavy focus on backend technologies (80/20). They will work in a hybrid cloud environment, and work on both legacy and new applications.

Compensation

• $56/hr
• Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
• Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
