Wealth Management and Investment Management Technology (WMIMT) is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical platform behind the products and services used by the Business. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (WM) is a product of the acquisition of Smith Barney from Citigroup, which was completed in June '13. Its core client base is individual investors, small- to medium-size businesses and institutions, and high net worth families and individuals.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the role:
· Strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot
· Experience in developing prototypes, third party service integration.
· Strong experience with multi-threading and networking protocols (TCP/IP, WebSocket, Multicast)
· Experience working with Streaming Technologies is highly desirable.
· Experience developing applications for financial markets with understanding of Equities, Futures, Options is desirable.
· Practical experience working within the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies.
· Experience working with AMQ, Kafka or other messaging brokers, and IMDG distributed caching solutions such as Redis or Hazel Cast are a plus.
· High proficiency in a Linux environment.
· Experience with common tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Teams, JIRA
· Self-motivated, highly organized, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn quickly and work independently
· Strong communication with exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
· Practical experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase) is a plus.

Salary range for the position: $115,000 - $179,500 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
