Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with an exceptional development team, leveraging modern technologies to craft software solutions tailored for government and healthcare entities.
- Enhance the functionality and scalability of our software through the implementation of Microservices, APIs, and web applications.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding and mentoring junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
- Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Embrace a culture of innovation, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance product features and performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong command of Java technologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and querying.
- Comfortable with both front-end and back-end development, with proficiency in relevant technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Angular/React.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Database Administration, including knowledge of data modeling, performance tuning, and database management tasks.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and techniques for extracting insights from data.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins, for automating deployment processes and improving development workflows.
