Our Technology Staffing team is looking to speak with Boston area candidates who would be a good fit according to the specifications below:

 
Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop REST APIs for multiple web applications 

• Work with various development teams on consumer-facing services and features 

• Collaborate with system and platform architects to enhance current systems 

• Optimize and create efficient solutions for the end user 

• Focus on design patterns and code quality 

• Ensure all technical solutions are following company architectural standards 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer, preferably with AWS 

• Expert knowledge and experience with Java and its related tools 

• Must have professional experience with React, AWS, and REST API 

• Experience developing and using REST APIs with microservices architecture 

• Exposure/experience working with Amazon Web Services like: Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway. 

• Experience with API Design and Documentation using Swagger or RAML. 

• Effective communication skills
