Job Title : Java Architect with Objective C or Swift
Location : Philadelphia, PA

Rate : DOE $55/hr on W2

Responsibilities

Proven full-stack experience in architecture, design and development of native application and browser-based web applications using iOS architecture, Java, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (Angular/Node), Java Web Services (REST)
Coordinate between business and IT stakeholders to develop a solution architecture approach.
Translate complex functional, technical, and business requirements into architectural designs.
Work with lead Architect to setup and implement best practices
Create Proof of Concepts for Technology Demonstration or providing guidance to team
Be hands on in development to be a team contributor.
Work with a strong collaborative Agile team

Skills and abilities

Candidate must have designed and developed enterprise applications
Excellent knowledge in Objective C or Swift and Java.
Minimum of 5 years of coding experience in Java
Strong expertise in Spring Framework
Knowledge and experience with software engineering best practices
Demonstrated experience providing estimates on requirements and solution information
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education and experience

Minimum B.S. degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent work experience and/or education in lieu of a degree
5+ years of industry experience in Application architecture, design & development.
Experience with iOS platform and Java development platform
Experience with critical data validation including accuracy of formulae and algorithms used in the processing and reporting of stored data
Working experience in both Linux and Windows environment
