Job Description – Employee Benefit Service Manager - Insurance 

Position Description/Summary

• Oversee account management team with the following duties:

• Coordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of a client.
• Manage the collection and analysis of data from vendors/carriers for reporting to the client, including cost projections and evaluation of vendor renewals.
• Review client needs, recommend suitable approaches and help implement benefit program strategies.
• Manage the modeling of employee benefits contributions to meet employer objectives.
• Develop client communications, including proposals, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Participate in employer-level client servicing issues.
• Lead staff meetings, department and carrier meetings as well as educational workshops.

Minimum Qualifications - Employee Benefit Service Manager - Insurance 

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior account management or team lead role
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience with an emphasis in business, marketing or finance.
• Familiarity with benefit administration and payroll system functionality.
• Intermediate level expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, and interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Current life and health insurance license.
• Agency management system experience preferred.(EPIC)
