Kitchen Manager/Prep Cook
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy manager and/or cook to start our kitchen.
A new Japanese concept is looking for an experienced cook with at least one (1) year of experience to work Full or Part-time in our new concept kitchen in Downtown San Jose. We will teach you how to prepare our foods. You will be responsible for executing the orders for dine-in, delivery, and takeout.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help kitchen operations under the guidance of the Manager.
- Prep, cook and keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
- Prepare foods, meats, and ingredients, place orders and control inventory.
- Maintain safety and sanitation.
- Good communication with management and the front staff.
- Be a Team Player.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a fast-paced, restaurant environment.
- Proper food handling techniques and procedures.
- ServSafe Food Handler or Manager Certificate is required.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Able to open and/or close the restaurant on time.
- Able to stand for extended durations of time.
- Be able to lift 50lbs.
