JANITORIAL ASSISTANT - Spherion

Now hiring for Janitorial Assistants. Spherion in Florence, SC currently has Janitorial Assistant opportunities available for 1st shift to support our customer in Florence, SC. Our Janitorial Assistants will be working a first shift with limited OT. The Janitorial Assistants will support our customer by Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture, blinds, and windowsills. Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture, blinds, and windowsills
- Clean and sanitize restrooms (e.g., floors, sinks, mirrors, commodes, and other fixtures)
- Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling
- Reporting any major maintenance and cleanliness issues to management

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- Good organization skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
- Excellent time-management skills

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience as a janitor/ housekeeper
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must experiences in ironing (curtains, tablecloths, etc)
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AROUND CATS
