Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a high level of hygiene.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting any damages or repairs required.
- Ensure all areas are secured after cleaning and report any unauthorized individuals or suspicious activities.
- Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive and well-organized work environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Ability to handle basic maintenance tasks.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them at all times.
