Janitor - 2nd Shift - Morgan Truck Body

Hours: 10 am - 6:30 pm

How You Will Make an Impact:

This is a key position in keeping our building in a clean and safe condition. We are looking for a Janitor to take care of our building and carry out cleaning. Duties will include the additional responsibility of assisting with tasks for the MOH 5S program.

The Nuts and Bolts:

• Clean designated building areas, per the designated cleaning checklist: (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, wet mopping per each defined area).
• Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and other restroom products in dispensers.
• Collect and dispose of trash in the appropriate manner.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work with Buyer/Planner to proper maintain stock of cleaning and related supplies.
• Clean up non-hazardous spills with appropriate equipment.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Provide notification of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Perform all tasks following requirements of all health and safety regulations.
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
Use of proper PPE per the overall facility requirements and per tasks performed.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift at least 35 pounds.

You Must Be Able to:

• This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands, and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places.
