We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent IVF Coordinator (LVN or RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. If you are a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse with a passion for reproductive health and a desire to make a significant impact on patients' lives, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care to our patients undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support throughout their IVF journey.
Responsibilities:
As an IVF Coordinator, you will be expected to:
1. Coordinate and manage the care of patients undergoing IVF treatment, ensuring they understand their treatment plan, medications, and the overall process.
2. Provide patient education and counseling on all aspects of IVF, including potential risks and benefits, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
4. Administer injections, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all information is kept confidential and secure.
6. Provide emotional support to patients, helping them cope with the stress and emotional challenges associated with IVF.
7. Keep abreast of the latest developments in reproductive health and IVF to ensure patients receive the most effective care possible.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Current and valid RN or LVN license.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for those with experience in reproductive health or IVF.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. A deep understanding of IVF procedures, medications, and potential risks and benefits.
6. A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a genuine desire to help patients achieve their fertility goals.
7. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technologies.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our patients.
