About the Job
We are hiring long-term temporary IT Technicians to assist with upgrading computers to Windows 11 for a client in Brainerd, MN. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment, with potential for permanent employment with the client.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (subject to change)
Responsibilities:
- Upgrade existing computers from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Verify software and hardware compatibility with Windows 11
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during the upgrade process
- Collaborate with IT team members to plan and execute upgrade schedules
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Windows 11 features and functionality
Skills & Qaulifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, especially Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability to changing schedules and priorities
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software installation processes
