About the Job
The primary duties consist of handling escalated helpdesk requests from IT operations team for server, network, and server application issues. Provide training when applicable to IT operations team. Maintain virtual and physical servers, and server applications. Provide technical assistance to departments and department goals. Take ownership of delegated projects and see them through to completion and provide consistent clear communication on due dates, tasks completed and roadblocks. This requires independent judgement and critical thinking in resolving technical issues.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Install, modify, and repair server hardware physical or virtual and software applications.
- Support business server software and equipment remotely or in person.
- Maintain daily performance of server systems and applications.
- Run diagnostic and proactive measures to resolve server issues.
- Server and Workstation patching and updates
- Deploy, manage, and mitigate server threats with EDR.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain backups.
- Maintain inventory of all IT server and network related equipment.
- Handle escalated incoming requests.
- Develop and assist in maintaining required technical documentation.
- Recommend changes or updates in programming, documentation, and training to address system deficiencies and user needs.
- Resolve technical problems with LAN, WAN, Wireless. Coordinate with 3rd party vendors.
- Maintain and support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Complete site surveys for new locations and expansion of sites.
- Coordinate with ISP, network, electricians, and other 3rd party vendor for site needs.
- Coordinate with the Facilities department on new sites and expansion of sites.
- Maintain safety and tidy organization of server rooms, IT equipment, and cables.
- Install and management of security camera systems.
- Attend daily IT stand-up meetings, provide task updates, and task blockers.
- Provide support and assistance to IT operations and applications teams.
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
- May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with two (2) years relevant experience; Associate/Technical degree with five (5) years relevant experience; or ten (10) or more years of relevant experience. Experience with planning and enterprise-wide rollouts. Experience with IIS, ASP.NET, MSSQL, SSRS, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, N-Able, PowerShell,BI, VMWare ESXi, VEEAM and VSphere, Microsoft Entra. Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise-wide network design and implementation, phone and communication solutions and technology systems, hardware, and software. Position must secure appropriate training and certifications on an ongoing basis.
