Position Overview: As an IT Support Technician at National Safety Apparel, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our employees and maintaining the IT infrastructure at our production facilities. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network setup and maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving IT needs.

Essential Job Functions:
- Provide technical support to end users, both remotely and in person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of production-related equipment and software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring adherence to security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and repairs.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IT support, recommending improvements and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management.
- Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
