Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician/Help Desk Technician for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has 5 years of full-time experience in Information Technology, particularly specializing in handling PMIS implementation in a construction setting, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.
This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify and resolve key issues pertaining to the field of IT, such as network printers, remote connectivity, software support, hardware issues, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Handle IT systems implementation and administration.
- Track and document crucial project markers to ensure the on-time delivery of IT project goals.
- Provides courteous and efficient technical customer service support for all business applications, including enterprise, and division/departmental applications as well as hardware environment.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Other related duties and tasks as required.
- Associate’s Degree in: Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related required advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT Support/Help Desk Technician experience, preferably relating to construction.
- Solid understanding of basic networking concepts, computer hardware, and software support.
- Good working knowledge of windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2016/365 application, Mac OS and mobile devices (Android & IPhone).
- Experience supporting virtualization, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (previously System Center Configuration Manager), Microsoft Azure preferred, but not required.
- Microsoft Certifications such as Az-900, 104, 305, 303 preferred, but not required.
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
