Description:
We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT Support team at AbacusNext®.
The ideal candidate shall have experience providing technical support to users both on-premise and remote locations.
Experienced working in a fast-paced environment, documenting procedures and using an Incident management system to effectively manage workload and resolve incidents is a must.
The candidate shall provide technical support and the installation, configuration and maintenance of the software and hardware being used within the company, either over the phone or in person.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing IT support requests assigned via incident management system include documenting resolution steps and actions taken.
- Work with staff either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Documenting new support procedures via company knowledge base.
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Build new workstations and maintain existing workstations.
- Setup and administer Active Directory and Office 365 user accounts as per standard operating procedure.
- Manage access to on-premise and cloud resources as per standard operating procedure.
- Assists in planning, coordinating and consulting with vendors for hardware/software purchases, product services and support.
- Train end-users how to setup and use new technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong team player with a can do attitude
- Good written and communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work out of hours if needed
- Experience supporting users in a Windows Environment (Windows, Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Active Directory, NTFS Permissions).
- Experience within Office 365 and Azure.
- Experience supporting Fonality phone systems is a bonus.
- Experience with SCCM is a bonus.
- Preferably CompTIA or Microsoft certified.
