JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing second level help desk support to end users of Workstations (PC), network, printers, ERP Hardware, and associated software issues for internal users at all levels of the organization. Performs help desk and end user support. The main focus is with Help Desk operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for work order entry, call information gathering, hardware problem resolution, network troubleshooting, work order assignments, status reporting, and timely resolution of open help desk entries.
• Assist with hardware roll out and the setting up of hardware.
• Function as a key member of the team and escalation point to provide day-to-day operation of corporate production systems.
• Respond to and resolve operational problems and adhere to service level agreements.
• Ensure capacity and stability of corporate and production systems environment is maintained at an acceptable level.
• Perform Microsoft Windows system administration, installation, upgrades, patching, turning, and troubleshooting on production workstations.
• Participate in planning and testing system and application-level upgrades.

SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 5 years related experience.
- Must have a good understanding of personal computers and associated hardware.
- Knowledge of software configuration and troubleshooting required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to Microsoft Windows (server and workstation) and basic network trouble shooting procedures are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven Project Management skills and strong solving skills, people skills and the ability to work independently.
