Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network connectivity, email configuration, and software glitches
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for employees
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution
- Document and maintain records of IT support requests, resolutions, and system configurations
- Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as software updates, antivirus scans, and system backups
- Manage user accounts and permissions across various systems and applications, ensuring data security and compliance
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide proactive recommendations for improving IT infrastructure and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required
- 6+ years of information technology industry experience
- Proficient in Technical Support, Troubleshooting, and Help Desk Support
- Experience with Break Fix, Basic Switch, PC, and Office 365 strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to others with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to balance various responsibilities and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, Network+, etc. would be a plus
