The IT Support Desk Supervisor is responsible for supervising the work and operations of the support technicians. This role will also provide tier 2 and tier 3 support as required, oversight of Support Desk requests, and other IS team coordination related to support requests.
Our IT Support Desk Supervisor will:
- Plans, directs, and supervises the day-to-day Support Desk operations.
- Manage equipment (computers, printers, accessories, software), ensuring adequate equipment availability, obtaining quotes, and ensuring accurate asset inventory.
- Provide tier II and tier III technical support including troubleshooting and resolution of desktop software, PCs, peripheral equipment, and other system related problems.
- Manage and maintain the Support Desk application and processes. Maintain and review help desk ticket queues to ensure incoming tickets are addressed in a timely manner. Assign tasks to other technicians as appropriate; Provide guidance and support to all IT team related to support issues.
- Manage Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Intune MDM solutions.
- Work within Active Directory for account management
- Manage Zoom application and Verizon account.
- Responsible for new hire technology onboarding.
- Maintain working knowledge of environment products and/or services
- Provide suggestions to management with ways to improve processes on the Support Desk.
- Provide senior level support to assist other IS staff on troubleshooting and resolution of Desktop software, PCs, peripheral equipment, and other system related problems.
- Coordinate Maintenance and Support calls with Vendors as required.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Network certification a plus
- 3-5 years previous PC / Network support experience.
- In depth knowledge of Windows Operating systems.
- In depth knowledge of, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Intune, and network environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
