IT Staffing Sales Executive - Marcum Search

About the Job
Marcum Search’s IT Division is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive the efforts in growing our external client base across the United States, with an emphasis on the NJ/NYC/Philadelphia metro regions. This is a hybrid position to sit in a NJ office, and the ability to travel as needed to client sites, other Marcum regional offices, and local events.
The Sales Executive is required to have
- At least 5 years of identifying, engaging and securing relationships and contracts with new clients for direct hire or temporary/contract IT positions. Experience in also supporting non IT roles is a plus.
- An extensive recent client base/contact list of IT decision makers and HR/Talent Managers in the SMB or large corporate or industrial market.
- Experience developing and implementing creative marketing strategies to generate qualified leads using Linked In, CRM tools, and attending local events.
- Understanding of direct hire contingent and retainer agreements, as well as temporary and contract staffing processes.
- Professional level presentation and oral and written communication.
- CRM and ATS experience- Salesforce, ZoomInfo, PCRecruiter are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients and set up meetings with CIO, CISO, CTOs and other IT leadership/decision makers through cold calling, sending LI messages and emails, and attending events.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and manage the contract execution process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients in relation to market conditions and industry trends, and willingness to include the EVP of IT & Ops, and recruiting team in position discussions.
- Vet job openings for salary, title and logistics, and educate hiring managers and HR teams on market conditions and challenges.
- Record all activity in ATS systems and provide management with regular updates
- Manage accounts or work with an assigned Account Manager to ensure a successful and ongoing relationships.
- Ability to meet and further screen candidates identified by recruiting team on more complex roles, or if there are any concerns or questions before submission to the client.
- Perform market research to determine job title and salary trends, and optimum billing rate for contract placements based on candidate population.
