Job Details
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and end-users.
- Install, Modify, diagnose, and repair computer hardware, printers, and software
- Walk employees through problem-solving process
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
- Set up and maintenance of software, mobile devices and handheld scanners
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, switches, and firewalls
- Maintain open communication channels with colleagues and management to resolve issues
- Develop and facilitate certain application training for key user applications; and documentation
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
- Education – Associate degree or equivalent IT work experience.
- Experience – Two to four years of experience as an IT Specialist.
- Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines.
- Accuracy – Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build very good working relationship with managers, workforce and customers.
- Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Office 365, Desktops, laptops and tablets.
