About the Job
In this role, you will serve as the organizational change leader for various key projects in North America, fostering a change culture at LDC that supports successful project and process delivery. This position collaborates heavily with business stakeholders, end users, IT teams, and technology partners to understand and manage the impacts to people, processes, and systems which accompany transformational projects.
The overall intent of the role is to empower project teams across multiple key projects to help LDC’s business teams prepare for major changes in systems and day-to-day business operations; providing the structure, tools, guidance, and best practice approach needed to succeed. Success in the role looks like key change program elements, including communication plans, UAT management, documentation preparation, and user training delivered through empowered project teams, at scale across multiple concurrent projects, with a consistent and aligned approach.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Serve as the change agent and coach to support transformational projects impacting the employee population within the North American region, preparing business teams for the impact on day-to-day operations.
- Create a structured approach to change management which can be consistently deployed at LDC, coaching IT delivery teams and business partners on actionable steps of change management, and obtain buy-in from senior managers to end users.
- Ensure full change management pillars are in place, including but not limited to a communications plan, key stakeholder management, training plan and risks & resistance management plan.
- Implement change management assessments, to understand change impacts both from a system/process perspective as well as from the end user point of view to tailor change activities as needed.
- Create and distribute change related communications to impacted partners and senior managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build a working knowledge of primary business systems and processes to be used and owned by business teams, enabling you to partner with business and IT colleagues to support training documentation and delivery.
- Develop and execute plans for post-launch to ensure strong adoption and utilization of new processes and software by business teams across the region, in partnership with relevant project teams.
- Define and measure success metrics to monitor change readiness across teams, including soliciting feedback from impacted partners and adjust the change management approach as necessary.
- Create and distribute reporting to showcase the progression of change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses
Basic qualification:
- Bachelors’ degree in business or computer science
Preferred qualification:
- Master’s degree in business or computer science
- Certification in organizational change management
Experience
Basic qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience leading and implementing change management activities impacting 100+ users.
- Demonstrated real-world experience addressing and overcoming the unique challenges that come with complex projects impacting the business operations of an organization.
- Experience participating in a cross-functional project team environment; ability to perform in various roles from individual contributor to a leadership role; ability to contribute to planning, organization and managing of change management activities.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations; successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment.
Preferred qualification:
- Experience with functional and technical aspects of major enterprise business systems and related technologies.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
Basic qualifications:
- Understanding of change management life cycle and how to drive partners to accept and embrace change.
- Understanding of project life cycle to know when, where and how to insert change management activities within.
- Working knowledge/ experience in functional business areas, such as finance, accounting, information technology and trading operations.
- Ability to effectively engage in multiple concurrent projects requiring change management.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and shift activities to align to the priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of standard business tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions
- Typical climate-controlled office environment. Extensions of regular working hours are occasionally necessary to complete time sensitive projects, attend training or to respond to high-priority requests. Spends long periods of time working on a computer screen. Position may include light travel within the region (<15%).
Decision Making/Accountability
- Accountable to create a change management approach / methodology suitable for requirements of LDC North America.
- Accountable to ensure all change management related activities have been completed to drive a successful change.
- Accountable to track and report change management issues and escalate as necessary.
- Ability to take decisions on change management related activities and escalate challenges as necessary.
