ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for an IT Service Desk Specialist in Aurora, CO. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.
Join our dynamic team, where you will comprehensively understand IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and procedures. You will coordinate with the DHA Global Service Center to resolve and close out escalated incidents, change requests, and service requests. You also may be responsible for managing and maintaining MHS ServiceNow Support Queues to ensure timely responses.
Responsibilities:
- Windows 11 Operating System troubleshooting, updating, and deployment.
- Computer hardware parts, and how to add/remove hard drives.
- Microsoft Active Directory Users and Computers
- Microsoft Office 365 applications including MS Teams.
- Microsoft Group Policy
- Microsoft Security Objects, for folder permissions and policies.
- Microsoft Azure basics
- Mobile devices, iPhones, and Androids
- Network (TCP/IP), 802.11x, proxy, wired/wireless, and infrastructure.
- VOIP (AVAYA) telephones
- VPN management and troubleshooting
- Multi-Function Printers support
- Remote Desktop support
- Information Security to maintain security posture
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) previously known as SCCM, and Software Center
- Virtual application knowledge such as Citrix
- ServiceNow knowledge for completing service tickets
- Browsers, Edge, Chrome, and Firefox knowledge to troubleshoot various website applications
- Ability be flexible with new approved software and utilize their knowledge base
- Audio/Video support with computers for conference presentations
- Provide on-site equipment repair or deskside support services to include services for drop-off of equipment for configuration, reconfiguration, or repair as required
- Provide on-site hardware repair staff and off-site repair coordination when providing repair/support services for equipment not maintained or supported under other contract vehicles or warranties as needed
- Provide the capacity to configure or reconfigure workstations or other approved peripherals in on-site deskside support location(s) customer support area inside each supported facility; the Contractor must also be able to rapidly and efficiently expand these capabilities to ensure that all workstations/peripherals are updated, upgraded, or patched as required
- Provide methods for managing all deskside support service support requirements; the Contractor shall provide communications capabilities among and between key staff, management personnel and or other DHA Enterprise IT support groups to provide the greatest flexibility and mobility in support of the customer assistance requirements
- Be responsible for notifying the appropriate equipment repair Contractor of equipment malfunction for component(s) covered by maintenance agreements and warranties supported under this PWS
- Support end user service requests for computer software installation as needed. Service requests may be via the MHS ServiceNow ticketing system or requests could be via walk-in customer support
Requirements:
- CompTIA Security+ certification or another equivalent IAT Level 2 certification
- Security Clearance
