We’re looking for an energetic and driven IT Service Desk Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients through various channels, ensuring that their service requests and IT incidents are addressed appropriately to IT incidents and service requests to effective solutions. Your contributions will ensure clients receive a smooth and efficient IT support experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first level remote IT support for VoIP phones, laptops, desktops, printers, and other network devices.
Efficiently document all support incidents by creating and managing Help Desk tickets.
Coordinate projects, schedules, and timelines with clients.
Manage hardware/software inventory, price books, and procurement processes.
Oversee equipment setup, configuration, and shipment for client installations.
Maintain and update technical documentation and customer system SOPs.
Collaborate with vendors to manage broadband pricing, equipment returns, and VoIP number porting requests.
Provision software licenses (e.g., Microsoft, DropSuite, Datto File Protection).
Qualifications
High school diploma with 2 years of related experience.
2 years in a Help Desk/Support Center role.
Basic knowledge in trouble shooting, diagnosing, and resolving computer hardware and software related issues
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Technical Skills
Desktop operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11)
Desktop imaging and management software (Clonezilla, PXE Boot)
Experience in CRM & Ticketing software (Autotask, Datto preferred)
Backup software or archival software (Datto preferred)
Experience with VoIP Phone Systems is considered an asset
Prior experience managing technical processes or documentation
