IT Security Policy Analyst with Security Clearance - AxioLogic Solutions

About the Job
Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement Security Policies: Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures in compliance with NIST, FISMA, and organizational standards.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with IT and engineering teams to integrate security measures into system designs and operational plans.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all security practices comply with applicable federal regulations and policies, including FISMA and NIST guidelines.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents, and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
Required:
• Must have an active Secret with the ability to obtain a TS clearance
• Minimum of 6+ years' relative experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have at least 5 years of documented experience and/or Education in IT or Cybersecurity
• In-depth understanding of IC Security Policy, Standards, and Procedures relating to Security Management.
• Experience with NIST, FISMA and Security Assessment & Authorization
• Strong research, analytical, and editing skills.
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of IT Services and service provision.
• CISSP is required Desired:
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical background in Information Technology.
