Job Title - IT Quorum Business Analyst on W2

Job Location – Houston, TX (Locals Only)

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

Responsible for requirements documentation related to IT projects and enhancement requests in coordination with business users, management, other IT resources and/or vendors. Works closely with business partners and IT team, especially the assigned Project Manager, in an Agile environment to support the on-time, on-budget delivery of changes. May work on projects of large scope that may involve multiple departments or have companywide impact.

KNOWLEDGE:

This position requires a basic understanding of the company’s organization, functions, roles, and responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of office protocol, customer service philosophies, proper office etiquette and protocol is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Identifies specific business requirements for projects and enhancements focused on a singular business area.
• Participates in meetings/workshops where business requirements and application objectives are articulated and accurately captured.
• Participates in sprint ceremonies and knowledge transfer activities.
• Works closely with developers to clarify requirements, capture assumptions, and identify impacts to business processes.
• Need to QA the tool developed and assist the business with their user testing.
• Assumes additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):

1.Education: Bachelor’s degree and//or equivalent years of experience

2.Experience: At least twelve (12) years of experience.

Skills:

• Should have experience working in an Agile environment as a BA.
• Must have experience working on the integration and/or reporting project.
• Should have excellent communications skills - verbal and written to all levels of the organization.
• Should have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Knowledge in Crystal Reports or Business Objects Web Intelligence development is a plus.
• Knowledge in SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge in Quorum legacy applications is a plus.
• Experience in Energy Components is a plus
