About the Job
- Develop detailed project schedules that outline the sequence of work and project milestones
- Collaborate with project teams to gather input and validate timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations
- Maintain and update project schedules regularly to reflect progress, delays, or changes in project scope
- Apply EVM techniques to monitor project performance against the baseline schedule and budget
- Calculate key EVM metrics such as Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), Actual Cost (AC), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
- Provide EVM analysis and reports to project stakeholders, highlighting any variances and potential risks
- Utilize MS Project or equivalent software to develop, manage, and track project schedules
- Integrate schedules with other project management tools and software used by the organization
- Generate reports, Gantt charts, and other visualizations to communicate project status to stakeholders
- Work closely with project managers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables
- Facilitate regular schedule review meetings to discuss progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Prepare and present schedule updates, EVM reports, and performance summaries to management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within government or large-scale projects
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management software (e.g., Primavera, Smartsheet)
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and its application in project management
- Familiarity with government project regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and communicate findings effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
